05 Feb Lunar Birth Phases
by Tiffany Harelik, MA, RYT
There are eight primary moon phases, and each is associated with different qualities in our emotional blueprint. What was the Moon phase at the time of your birth?
New Moon:
Visionary, introspective, intuitive, spontaneous, unrestricted, and creative. Strong connection to their inner selves and a desire for self-discovery through soul searching.
Waxing Crescent:
Energetic, creative, traditional, cultural, and proactive. Inclined to take initiative and show a willingness to learn and grow. Productivity, willpower, determination, and commitment.
First Quarter:
The halfway point between the New and Full Moon phase – embody both the light and the dark. Dynamic and action-oriented changemakers. Strong drive to achieve goals and an ability to overcome challenges. Plan for the near future (not long term). Partnerships and deep friendships are important.
Waxing Gibbous:
Detail-oriented, analytical, passionate, and focused. Being on the precipice of an awakening – an ability to take things to the top. Keen awareness of the nuances of life allows the visibility of possibility of multiple outcomes.
Full Moon:
Heightened emotions, intuition, and a desire for harmony and closure. Live life to the fullest. Confident, cool, objective. Magnetic, indecisive, truth-seeking. Spiritual development due to situations that force them to look beyond.
Waning Gibbous:
Luck and opportunity. Old Souls with strong potential for success. Reflective nature and a tendency to evaluate situations critically. Others tend to follow your lead – this comes with great responsibility.
Last Quarter:
Adaptable and resilient renegades. Realistic approach to life, navigating challenges with a steady mindset and knowing when to be spontaneous. Prone to outgrow circumstances – also deeply loyal. Brilliant – ahead of the curve.
