Under the Aries New Moon, we can reflect on the magic of new beginnings. But what about correct beginnings?

Sometimes we find ourselves in a bad sequence of events. Consciously, or unconsciously—we repeat patterns and cycles with the same people, with different people, in the same place, in different places—no matter where we go, there we are. We work on core healing, go through therapy, talk it out, come to new understandings—and still find ourselves stepping in the same hole. Is it possible, we just haven’t mastered the mechanics of new beginnings? Here are some ideas to help you work your New Moon—and experiment with New Beginning Magic.
Step One: Aura Mechanics
The first step in creating something new, is to understand your aura type in your *Human Design bodygraph. This is the tool that tells you how to make decisions, interact with others, and move through the world. Did you know that most of the aura types are not designed to initiate?

- Generators & Manifesting Generators: are here to know themselves and wait to respond to what life brings, so they get the satisfaction of using their life force for what is correct for them.
- Projectors are here to know the other and learn to wait for the invitation to share what they see, so they feel the success of guiding those who are correct for them.
- Manifestors are here to know their impact on others with their strong initiating power. They are here to correctly initiate by informing others, and to feel peace by having the correct impact on others.
- Reflectors are here to wait a lunar cycle in order to know their environment, to sample different activations and reflect back to others what is there, bringing surprise to their life. They are not here to work like a Generator, as this leads to disappointment.
Wait, what? I’m not supposed to initiate unless I’m a manifestor? How can I start new things ‘correctly’? Well, it’s nuanced, friends. Experimenting with Human Design helps us shift into ‘passenger consciousness.’ Instead of being the driver, we become the passenger here to enjoy seeing what life brings to us. This doesn’t mean we can’t create, collaborate, or bring new things into the world. Rather, it allows us an opportunity to have correct beginnings. Step Two: Identify Best Astrological Timing.
Astrology enthusiasts know the best time to launch a product, create something new, or start a new routine is centered around the dark skies of a New Moon. What sign that New Moon is in can offer insight and extra layers to what parachutes out of the sheets when they billow down on the bed. In addition to New Moons, astrologers using a horary chart can help identify advice based on the time the question was asked. We can look at astrocartography to understand optimal locations to initiate projects, connect with particular communities, schedule tours, build a home, etc. And we can give new life to relationships or projects by giving them a new birth chart all together.
