Dive Bars

There's an eclectic mix of old dive bars and new-Austin bars to enjoy the night life. My favorites have always been Dry Creek on Mount Bonnell, Don's Depot where I worked during college, Mean Eyed Cat where my friends all worked, & my old neighborhood bar: Deep Eddy Cabaret.


Watch Live Music in the Music Capitol of the World

Austin is considered the Live Music Capitol of the World - so be sure to check out who is playing at these venues/festivals when you're in town: Continental Club, ACL/Moody Theatre, Broken Spoke, ACL Music Festival, White Horse, Stay Gold, ABGB, Kebabalicious, SquareRut Kava Bar, etc.



There are many great places to practice yoga in Austin at all hours of the day and various levels of experience. Try Wanderlust, Black Swan, Practice, and East Side Yoga for starters.
